Today is Rewatch Wednesday, Gleeks!

The randomly selected episode for this week’s in game spamming is 1x06 ‘Vitamin D’.

How this works:

All active accounts within the RP barring those currently on temporary hiatus have been split into groups. Gleeks are asked to rewatch the episode in question and use it as a prompt to ask 5 questions of each member of their group. This will result in each member of the RP receiving a total of 15 questions. 

If a character was not featured in the episode that week, you can spam them with other questions or use the theme or subject of the episode to ask questions (i.e ‘what would you do if you couldn’t sing any longer?’). Each week we will pick another episode and shuffle the groups around so everyone isn’t constantly spamming the same characters.

What if you don’t have access to/cannot view the episode?

There is a detailed synopsis of the episode here via Wikipedia which should offer enough detail to prompt questions or you can simply spam others with regular questions. As with all episode summaries there is always potential room for error so make sure you check that names and events do match up to the episode.

Does everyone have to participate? 

Yes, we do require everyone to help out and take part. We’ll give everyone 48 hours as of this post to spam the others they are grouped with. After you’ve spammed your group members, like this post to let us know!

Once 48 hours has elapsed, if anyone has not been spammed they can contact the Admins and we’ll prompt those in the group who may have neglected to participate because of absence and/or other obstructions. 

If a member of the RP is noted not to participate in Rewatch Wednesday without any reason given three times or more the Admins reserve the right to place their account onto hiatus. 

If a group member is unable to spam another member for a legitimate reason (i.e storms, no power, etc.) the Admins will supply spam in their stead.

Upcoming Hiatus Timeline Events

If anyone has events coming up in game and they’d like to ‘advertise’ that they are, either with a poster or just a reminder, please feel welcome to contact the Admins and we’ll slot a notice up and/or put something together for you.

Below are some upcoming events that multiple characters are involved in/welcome to involve themselves in:

June 15th - June 29th: Rachel is back in Lima (please contact Rachel if you’d like to potentially plan anything with her during this period)

June 18th - Casting announced for Encore Theatre’s production of Chicago (a post regarding this will be added to the main page at 9AM EST)

June 20th - Rehearsals commence for Chicago

June 21st - 22nd: Columbus Pride Festival (Burt and Carole will both be speaking, Burt on Friday and Carole on Saturday at a PFLAG event)

July 1st - Tickets go on sale for Chicago

July 4th - Independence Day 

Directory Info Updates

If anyone in the RP would like their directory entries updated with new quotes, locations, occupations or schools and/or their ages brought more recent (especially if any birthdays have been celebrated up until the finale) feel free to drop us a line either via the main page inbox or the OOC area and we’ll get on that for you. 

We’ll only change information that isn’t going to directly (or very probably) require resetting once season five begins. So for example, we would not change Kurt’s age at present as once the new season begins, it’s very probable this will occur as the season progresses. 

Don’t forget about your Timelines!

If you have upcoming events you jotted down on your timeline approaching, post about them! Don’t be afraid to do updates and start conversations about your hiatus activities. If your ship partner/characters your own had plans with over the hiatus are presently inactive and you both had events planned, you’re still welcome to run with the ideas and have them take place. 

Simply drop the character an OOC note on their blog so they’re aware of what’s transpired if they do return. If you’re unsure about whether or not an event will be acceptable, contact us and we can chat it through with you.

Premiere Date for Glee’s fifth Season and the end of the Hiatus

It is all but officially confirmed that Glee will return to air on the 12th of September, two weeks ahead of most other shows as is Fox’s norm for Glee. This means that the Admins can now speculate with some certainty that we’ll be officially ending our in game hiatus (and returning to regular activity levels) from the 1st of September and ‘rebooting’ all accounts the following Monday the 9th of September to lead into the premiere. 

We will begin to contact absent RP members from the 1st and give everyone a week to wrap up and terminate their hiatus storylines in preparation to reset their blogs for season 5. This also means we’ll be re-opening the RP for auditions during the first two weeks of September.

Any accounts that do not contact the Admins or simply fail to return from hiatus by the 12th of September will have their roles re-opened.
